Advanced Diploma of Information Technology

The Advanced Diploma of Information Technology will provide you with essential knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of essential information technology functions, strategy and skills.
It is awarded to students who complete 12 units in total or complete an additional 4 units to the Diploma of Computing. These units are equivalent to the first semester of second year at university, so students will transfer directly into the second semester of studies.

The course is completed over three semesters. It comprises of core (mandatory) and elective units. Students will study 12 units in total from the list below depending on articulation.

Assumed knowledge

To meet the entry requirements for this diploma program, it is assumed that students have completed Australian year 12 maths or equivalent. If not, students may be required to study a bridging subject or support maths program.
