Orientation

Orientation is the beginning of your journey at SIBT and the introduction to your new study environment. As you will receive lots of important and useful information about SIBT and your course, orientation is compulsory for new students.

At orientation, you will:

  • receive information regarding your SIBT course, an orientation kit and a student diary
  • meet the SIBT staff, student mentors and new friends
  • be introduced to a range of services and facilities available to you as an SIBT student

There will also be information sessions concerning items such as health coverage and computer use; these are designed to help you settle in to your new environment.

Most importantly, orientation ensures that you are properly enrolled in your course - you will create your timetable and obtain your official SIBT student ID card.

What do I need to bring to orientation?

Make sure to bring your SIBT Letter of Offer, your passport (if you are an international student), and details of your current address.
