SIBT's quality education, convenient location, flexible timetable and affiliation with Macquarie University are the reasons I chose to study there. I find my lecturers well experienced, very cooperative and most of all friendly. When people ask me where I study I feel really proud to tell them about SIBT - it's where success starts.

After I left school I was very unsure of my options and the direction my life was going to take. A friend suggested that I look at the SIBT website for ideas and the courses they offer. I soon enrolled in the Diploma of Commerce and rate this as one of the best life decisions I made. SIBT is an excellent stepping stone for people who didnt quite achieve the grades to make it directly into Macquarie University.

Without the assistance from the staff and lecturers at SIBT I would not have had this great career in Accountancy. SIBT improved my study methods and this helped me to do well at Macquarie. I met many great friends during my time at SIBT (and yes, 8 years on we still keep in touch!).

As an international student studying in Australia I was looking for a learning environment that was friendly and supportive - I found it at SIBT!. Studying at SIBT has given me the opportunity to achieve my goals; it's like my second chance. Whilst it requires a lot of hard work and regular study; the small class sizes and supportive lecturers help you succeed. My message to those considering studying at SIBT would be that if you're given the opportunity to succeed don't hesitate, go for it!. You will be very happy.

I am enjoying working and living in the US. I earn a good living and have even met Bill Gates! When I first came to SIBT back in 2000 I never thought this could happen. My English was not the best but the smaller classes and great lecturers made me feel comfortable and I learnt to ask lots of questions. The best thing about SIBT is that you are guaranteed entry to 2nd year Macquarie.

My English language was not the greatest when I first came to Australia so I completed a six month, full time English course, prior to starting my Diploma at SIBT and this really assisted me with my later studies. I like the flexibility that SIBT offers. I chose to Fast Track my studies and this meant that I completed my SIBT Diploma in only 8 months. I am now enjoying my second year at Macquarie University and will be participating in the University student exchange program to study in America next year. When I graduate I am planning to become a qualified Accountant.

SIBT provides a great stepping stone to students who aim for academic success. I was so nervous when I first arrived in Australia, young, not knowing anyone and new to the country. The small classes in SIBT helped me to build strong relationships with my classmates and lecturers, as the same time learning and adopting the University system. I wouldn’t have achieved the same level of success without the pathway in SIBT.

I chose to study at SIBT because their Diplomas lead directly into the second year of a Macquarie University degree. This means I'm still able to complete my degree in three years! Thanks to my experience at SIBT I hope to become a successful accountant in Sydney's CBD.

Studying at SIBT is a great introduction to Macquarie University and the Australian learning environment. My lecturers were very helpful and motivating. I think the transition into 2nd year university has been easy because I am familiar with the campus, and studied first year Macquarie University subjects at SIBT, and many of the lecturers are the same. I also like the fact that as a SIBT student I am able to use all the Macquarie University facilities. I joined the gym on campus and am a member of the Badminton, Basketball and Tennis clubs.
